Cancellations and Refunds Policy

At Vedika Diagnostic, we understand that circumstances may change. This policy outlines our cancellation and refund procedures to ensure a transparent and fair process for all our customers.

1. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by Customer

You can cancel your booking under the following conditions:

  • Before Sample Collection: Full refund available if cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled collection time
  • Within 24 Hours: 50% refund if cancelled between 12-24 hours before collection
  • Less than 12 Hours: No refund, but rescheduling may be available (charges apply)
  • After Sample Collection: No cancellation or refund possible as testing has commenced

2. Refund Policy

Refund Eligibility

  • Refunds are processed only for cancellations made before sample collection
  • Refund amount depends on the cancellation timing (as per cancellation policy)
  • Processing fees (if any) may be deducted from the refund amount
  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method

Refund Processing Time

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5-7 business days
  • UPI: 2-3 business days
  • Net Banking: 5-7 business days
  • Wallet Payments: 1-2 business days

* Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

3. Rescheduling Policy

Instead of cancellation, you may choose to reschedule your appointment:

  • More than 24 Hours: Free rescheduling (up to 2 times)
  • 12-24 Hours: Rescheduling allowed with nominal charges
  • Less than 12 Hours: Rescheduling may not be possible; cancellation charges apply
  • Rescheduling can be done through your account or by contacting customer support

4. Cancellation by Vedika Diagnostic

We may cancel your booking in the following circumstances:

  • Service unavailability in your area
  • Technical issues or operational constraints
  • Incorrect or incomplete information provided
  • Payment verification failure
  • Safety or medical concerns

Full Refund Guarantee

If we cancel your booking, you will receive a 100% refund within 3-5 business days, regardless of the reason.

5. Failed Sample Collection

If sample collection fails due to reasons beyond our control:

  • No one available at the address
  • Incorrect address provided
  • Patient not in suitable condition
  • Inability to locate the address

We will attempt to reschedule once. If the second attempt also fails, a cancellation fee may apply, or you may choose to visit our laboratory for sample collection.

6. Test Result Issues

Delayed Results

If test results are delayed beyond the promised timeline due to our error, we will investigate and may offer compensation or a partial refund at our discretion.

Sample Rejection

If a sample is rejected due to quality issues (not patient-related), we will offer a free re-collection or full refund.

7. Package Deals and Offers

For health checkup packages and promotional offers:

  • Cancellation and refund policies apply as per standard terms
  • If you've used part of a package, refund will be calculated on a pro-rata basis
  • Promotional discounts are non-refundable if the offer period has ended

8. Dispute Resolution

If you have concerns about a refund or cancellation:

  1. Contact our customer support team first
  2. Provide your booking ID and relevant details
  3. Our team will review your case within 2-3 business days
  4. We will communicate our decision and process refunds if applicable

9. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable:

  • Tests already performed and results delivered
  • Home collection charges (if separately charged) after collection attempt
  • Express report charges (if results have been delivered)
  • Administrative or processing fees (if applicable)
